Burlington County is continuing its small-business workshop series with upcoming sessions focused on helping owners access capital and target new customers.
A business networking event is also being organized to help local business owners connect and share information and ideas. The events are free and offered as a service to businesses operating in the county and to residents thinking about starting a new business. Advance registration is required.
An in-person small business workshop will be held Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Edgewater Park Municipal Building. It will be focused on how to perform a market analysis and the strategic use of that analysis. In addition to those seminars, the Bridge Commission and Department of Economic Development will host a special Burlington County Business-to-Business Social on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Ark Brewery, Restaurant & Pub, 106 Ark Road in Lumberton.
The event will provide county business owners an opportunity to meet and network with fellow business leaders and employees, as well as government officials, including staff from the New Jersey Business Action Center and New Jersey Economic Development Authority.
