Delran police: Two alleged suspects steal car with children inside

Delran police are attempting to identify two alleged suspects involved in stealing a motor vehicle that was left running with three young children inside, according to the Delran Police Department.

On Aug. 8 at 8:22 p.m., Delran police were dispatched to the Walgreens pharmacy located at Route 130 south and Fairview Boulevard for a report of a stolen motor vehicle, a 2010 green Nissan Pathfinder. The caller advised police he left his vehicle running in the parking lot of Walgreens pharmacy and his three children ages 8, 6, and 5 were also in the vehicle when he went into the Walgreens pharmacy.

The investigation showed the suspect had drove the stolen Nissan Pathfinder with the three children to the Cinnaminson Motor lodge motel located at 1905 South Route 130 in Cinnaminson and had one child exit the vehicle. The suspect then drove to Wynwood Drive in Cinnaminson where he had the two remaining children exit the vehicle. The suspect then abandoned the Nissan Pathfinder on Buttonwood Lane in Cinnaminson, according to police.

Cinnaminson police received calls for service beginning at 8:23 p.m. for the two children who were now at the AT&T store located at 1253 Route 130 South in Cinnaminson and the one child who was at the Cinnaminson Motor lodge motel.

Cinnaminson EMS (emergency medical services) was dispatched to medically check the children who were not injured and were reunited with their parents, police said.

At this time Delran police is actively investigating and attempting to identify the two subjects seen from the surveillance video from the Walgreens pharmacy store.
