The men's team begins practice on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 8 p.m.

Special to The Sun

South Jersey Men’s Rugby Club is looking for athletes of all ages, sizes and experience levels for its Fall 2023 campaign.

Founded in 1969, the Men’s club has been one of top amateur rugby clubs in the Mid-Atlantic for decades. It currently competes in the USA Rugby Mid-Atlantic Men’s DII competition against clubs from across Eastern Pennsylvania.

It also fields a developmental side for players new to the game.

The men’s team begins practice on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 8 p.m. Practice continues every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 to 10 p.m. at its home pitch, located at 490 E. Evesham Road, Cherry Hill.

If you’re looking to get into shape, try something new or relive your glory days, come out to a practice — all you need is a pair of cleats and a mouth guard.
