The Markeim Arts Center’s kids summer art camp for youth ages 5 to 12 continues through Friday, Aug. 25, with lessons focused on 2-D and 3-D projects, painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, and clay. Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Weekly themes are:

- Monday through July 21: colors/nature
- July 24 to 28: superheroes and princesses
- July 31 to Aug. 4: STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics)
- Aug. 7 to 11: bugs and butterflies
- Aug. 14 to 18: dinosaurs and fossils
- Aug. 21 to 25: Art around the world
