Tuesday, Aug. 1

The Monroe Township Police Department will celebrate National Night Out from 6-9 p.m. at Owens Park. There will be a DJ, water slide, balloon art, inflatables, K9 demo, members of the police and Williamstown and Cecil fire departments, Municipal Alliance, light snacks and township vendors.

Through Aug. 5

County library system hosts summer reading program

The Gloucester County Library System (GCLS) has announced its annual summer reading program with the theme, “All Together Now.”

The program runs from Saturday, June 24, through Wednesday, Aug. 5, and is open to readers of all ages. It is designed to encourage reading and lifelong learning, as well as to provide activities for the community. Participants will also be able to track their reading progress and earn weekly prizes.

Thursday, Aug. 10 

Gloucester County Summer Farmers Market will be at the Pfeiffer Community Center, 301 Blue Bell Road from 10 a.m. to noon.
