The Gloucester County Senior Citizen Art Show is a testament to the incredible artistic vitality that can be found within our senior community,” said the college’s Renee Post. “Through their passion and dedication, these artists continue to inspire us all and remind us that creativity knows no age limits.

“The art show also serves as a platform to recognize and honor the immense talent that often goes unrecognized, showcasing the invaluable contributions of our senior citizens to the cultural fabric of our society.

An awards ceremony will be hosted near the end of the exhibit, when a panel of judges will decide winners based on the overall artistic impact, technique, composition and innovation of each respective piece.

The art can also be purchased for prices that will be based on each piece as well as visitor reactions.

“Rowan College of South Jersey is proud to host this significant cultural event that fosters community engagement and celebrates the rich tapestry of artistic expression,” Post noted. “The Senior Citizen Art Show encourages intergenerational dialogue, promotes the appreciation of art and supports the continued growth and recognition of our talented senior artists.

“This annual event celebrates the power of creativity and highlights the remarkable works of art created by the county’s senior artists. The Gloucester County Senior Citizen Art Show promises to be a delightful experience for both artists and art enthusiasts alike.”

Exhibit hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday. There is no registration necessary to attend.
