Burlington County is continuing its Small Business Workshop Series with a program on how to run a successful business and analyze profitability.
The workshop – organized by county commissioners and the Burlington County Bridge Commission’s Department of Economic Development – will be held next Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Evesham library.
The free class is open to county business owners and proprietors, as well as residents interested in starting a new business or expanding into the county.
“The best-run businesses are the ones that are the most informed, and the Small Business Workshop Series is designed to give business owners and operators information that can help them and their businesses succeed and grow,” said the bridge commission’s chairman, Matt Riggins.
“It’s a great economic development tool, and we’re encouraging business owners to sign up and attend.”
Representatives of TD Bank – which helped organize the workshop – will lead the workshop, whose subjects will include recruiting and retaining employees; staying competitive; developing marketing strategies; and growing a business, along with tips for managing payroll, overhead, profit margins and measuring profitability.
