Mantua Township School District was one of the twenty-three recipients in New Jersey honored with the Promising Practice Award from Character.org.
Every year, we host our abilities awareness program that was established in conjunction with our character education program. Our abilities awareness program aims to increase awareness among our students and staff about the unique challenges and abilities of people with different needs and to foster an environment of kindness, compassion and acceptance for everyone in our learning community.
By doing so, we help our students become more empathetic, caring, and accepting individuals who value diversity and respect differences. We are so proud of our abilities awareness program and are thrilled to receive the Promising Practice Award.
