Logan Township man charged with alleged burglary at Arden Post residence

Police charged a Logan Township man with burglary, theft and criminal mischief at a residence in the Arden Post neighborhood, according to the Washington Township Police Department.

The homeowners had left their house for less than an hour to go grocery shopping to find their front door kicked in and jewelry boxes stolen. Police responded to the residence at 1:24 p.m. on April 24.

Detectives immediately fanned out to the area and started knocking on doors searching for evidence, witnesses and video.

The investigation led to the charges against the Logan Township man. He was arrested on May 2, processed and turned over the Gloucester County Jail.
