The Delran Green Team meets the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 in the Delran Municipal Building, 900 S. Chester Ave. Upcoming meetings are scheduled for April 12, May 10, June 14.
April 29 – 10 a.m. – Arbor Day Celebration at Conrow Park.
There will be a Free Tree Seedling Giveaway during the celebration.
The team plans a tree planting for the first week of May. They are looking for volunteers to help out.
Thursday, April 13
RAC meeting from 7-8 p.m. at the Municipal building, 900 Chester Ave., Delran.
Saturday, April 15
Public Works Yard open between 8 a.m. to noon.
Monday, April 17
Delran Board of Education meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Delran High School, 50 Hartford Road.
Thursday, April 20
Zoning Board meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 900 Chester Ave., Delran.
Saturday, April 22
The PTA of Delran’s middle and high schools hosts its annual gift basket extravaganza on April 22, the association’s largest fundraiser of the year.
Tickets for the event are $25 and can be purchased in advance. Online sales began on Feb. 26 and runs through April 20.
The PTA and senior class parent volunteers work together to organize the event, whose proceeds benefit Project Graduation, a drug- and alcohol-free party where graduates come together one last time to safely celebrate their accomplishments. Proceeds also fund programs sponsored by the PTA during the school year.
