The award-winning, non-profit Moorestown Theater Company (MTC) will be performing “Once Upon A Mattress, Youth Edition” at the First United Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall on these dates and times:
- Thursday, March 9 at 6 p.m.
- Friday, March 10 at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, March 11 at 7 p.m.
- Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m.
In “Once Upon A Mattress, Youth Edition,” MTC’s 24-member student cast will bring to life the musical version of the classic fairy tale of “The Princess and the Pea.” The original Broadway production of this musical made a then-unknown Carol Burnett famous in the lead role of ‘Princess Winifred.’ This musical is appropriate for audience members of all ages.
This is the third production, and second musical, that MTC is performing at FUMC. Reserved seat tickets are $13 per person and can be purchased at www.MoorestownTheaterCompany.org or at the door. Bring the whole family out to be entertained by MTC, which was named as “The Outstanding Community Theater Of The Year” in 2022 by the New Jersey Association of Community Theaters (NJACT).
