Happy Birthday Washington Township.

I am excited to announce that on Feb. 17 marks the 187th birthday of Washington Township. Washington Township was established on February 17, 1836 as a part of Gloucester County. After all of these years and many changes along the way, Washington Township is still thriving and I am thrilled to be a part of its continued growth. If you would like to learn more about Washington Township’s history, you can visit the Township website at www.TownshipNJ.com, under the Resident Information tab. I look forward to being a part of more positive additions and initiatives that will support the development of Washington Township.

Grand Opening

Our amazing Washington Township business community just keeps growing. This past month, Township Council, Economic Development Consultant Nancy Mazzachio, Washington Township Chamber and I all welcomed Kung Fu Bubble they are located at 3501 Route 42, Suite 310, Turnersville, NJ, 08012-1752.

In addition, welcome Jersey Mike’s with their second location. They are located at 415 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080.

Be sure to stop by for some delicious bubble tea and sub. We can’t wait to see what your future has in store and know you’ll be a great success.

Washington Township High School Helping Hands

It is always a great day at the Helping Hands hoagie sale. For the past 26 years the Hoagie sale has benefitted township families in need during their most difficult times.

Councilmembers and I proudly helped in making hoagies this along with hundreds of students, parents, teachers and supporters. The Hoagie Sale is a true definition of
Washington Township Pride.
