We serve our residents and want to ensure that all ages have opportunities to exercise and play outside in an inclusive, welcoming environment. Come out and enjoy Ella Harris, William Wilt and PVS Parks with your family. Following is a quick update on some additional improvements that are underway.

Currently, baseball field six is being renovated to allow more space for both players and spectators. All costs associated with this project are being paid for by Steve Harbaugh. The field is scheduled to be completed before Harrison Township Little League’s spring season opens.

Also, Harrison Township Little League has built a new press box and installed a turf field. There are now press boxes for both the baseball and softball programs. Great work by the Little League leadership team.

We are fortunate to have an outstanding Recreation program to support our community. There are a number of spring and summer camp options for children, adult tennis and pickleball clinics and other activities throughout the year. Spring/Summer programs and event registration links will be available in February on the Harrison Township Recreation web page.

The Township is continually applying for grants and sponsorships to help fund our ongoing improvements. Plans are in place to add to our parks’ playground equipment, build pickleball courts and add a dog park. Updates will be sent to you as the plans are finalized. We want everyone in Harrison Township to enjoy our beautiful parks and recreation facilities.
