New year, new you

Burlington County Library offers new additions to catalog

There are countless ways to discover all the opportunities that await you in the new year. Ready to catch up on your reading in 2023? Here are some of the newest additions to our catalog to help you get started. And don’t forget about all the other great services offered at your local library too.

If you’ve set reading goals for the new year but find it difficult to keep track of everything you’ve read, we can help. Beanstack is a wonderful app for adults and kids that lets you easily scan books or type in the titles to log the ones you’ve read. You can also find new and exciting titles to read, earning digital “badges” along the way. But that’s not all! There is so much more that can be done on Beanstack.

Long commute? Lots of errands to run? Perhaps you prefer to multi-task and listen to books while on the go. No matter the reason, you can still tackle those reading goals by checking out our awesome audiobooks in person at the library or through our Libby app.

Another fun goal for 2023 might be to learn a new language. Aside from some interesting language learning books that can be found in our catalog, we also offer learning opportunities through a website and app. Pronunciator is a library resource in 163 languages you can access from anywhere to choose. It offers beginner, intermediate and advanced daily lessons, as well as quizzes, audio lessons and more. This resource also offers a free mobile app, Bluebird.

Remember, whatever your New Year’s goal may be, our library has resources that can help you along the way.
