Movies at the library

Enjoy films of all genres

From dramas to action films, to laugh-out-loud comedies, the Burlington County Library has movies for everyone. Your library card is your movie ticket, and admission is free. So, grab the popcorn and check out all the ways you can enjoy your next great film.

Streaming Cinema

Watch some of your favorites through Kanopy, the BCLS resource that lets you access critically acclaimed movies, inspiring documentaries, classic cinema and award-winning foreign films on any device. You’ll find more than 30,000 selections to explore.

Families and their youngest readers can view interactive stories about animals and nature through TumbleBooks. Featuring animated talking picture books, chapter books, graphic novels and more.

Access Video On Demand: Just for Kids is a streaming video collection for children of all ages that features more than 11,000 fun and informative titles, including videos about music and art, nature, sports and hobbies, math and science, history, reading and writing.

DVD and BluRay

Did you know you can borrow up to seven DVD movies and two BluRay discs from your library for a week at a time? Enjoy newer releases, old favorites, documentaries and more. The Riverton Library also houses nearly 400 films from the Criterion Collection, which is dedicated to releasing culturally significant and underappreciated films, including difficult-to-find foreign films, classics, and limited-release independent movies.

Enjoy the Show

Don’t forget your library is a great place to catch a film. We regularly dim the lights in the 250-seat Burlington County Library Auditorium to allow audiences to watch feature films, documentaries and special presentations. Our other locations schedule movie time showings for all ages too. Be sure to explore our upcoming events to see what’s playing next.
