Haddonfield School District to test emergency notification system

On Nov. 10, representatives from RFP Solutions will be onsite performing the test, and the system will respond just as it would in an actual emergency. This includes setting off exterior strobe lights, audio notification.

The following release is from the Haddonfield School District.

Testing of our district-wide Emergency Notification System has been rescheduled for Thursday, Nov. 10. School buildings will be closed both Thursday and Friday that week for the NJEA (New Jersey Education Association) convention.

Representatives from RFP Solutions will be onsite performing the test, and the system will respond just as it would in an actual emergency.

That means the system will set off exterior strobe lights and will produce audio notifications, as well as emails and text messages to our administrators.  Local Law Enforcement and the community will be made aware of the test ahead of time.

We will send a second reminder closer to the testing date. Thank you for your patience with and understanding of this important testing procedure.
