Burlington County holds Spotted Lanternfly seminar

Topics regarding spotted lanternfly management will be discussed

The Rutgers Cooperative Extension Office of Burlington County will be hosting a seminar discussing the Spotted Lanternfly, an invasive species from Asia that has spread across eastern Pennsylvania and the state of New Jersey.

The upcoming seminar will take place on Sept. 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Amphitheater of the Main Branch of the Burlington County Library system in Westhampton, located at 5 Pioneer Boulevard in Westampton.

The event will feature three speakers that will speak on numerous key topics regarding spotted lanternfly management for homeowners and land managers, pertaining to how residents can best manage their land to prevent the spread of these pests and how to aid in the future containment of the insect.
