Gloucester County Animal Shelter to host open house

The Gloucester County Board of Commissioners and the Animal Shelter are accepting interest forms from potential vendors at the Gloucester County Animal Shelter Open House on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Gloucester County Public Works Complex 1200 N. Delsea Drive, Clayton NJ 08312.

Rain date: Sunday, Oct. 16

Vendors should note:

Vendors must supply their own table, tent and any other equipment needed for their booth. Each vendor will receive two parking spots.

Vendors will have a scheduled time to arrive for set up. Vendors will be required to set up prior to 10 a.m. and cannot break down until the event’s conclusion at 3 p.m.

There will be no food sales allowed unless approved by the Gloucester County Health Department as an approved food vendor.

Gloucester County will NOT provide electricity.

All booths are subject to the approval of Gloucester County and the Gloucester County Animal Shelter.

After approval, Animal Shelter staff will provide vendors with additional details and vendor contracts for signature. Vendors will have three (3) days to secure their spot.

Event Rules

Set-Up: Individuals will be permitted to set up starting at 9 a.m. on the morning of the event. All vendors must move out by 3 p.m. on the day of the event. There is no electricity available. Individuals are responsible for their own set up including tables, chairs and tents.

Parking: Each individual is given TWO parking spaces for their set up. Two cars can be parked in the spots behind the set-up area. Additional parking will be available in the main event parking area.

Cash Sales: Individuals are responsible for their own prices and collecting payment for their goods. Bring your own small bills and coins to make change.

Food Sales Prohibited: Water and food may not be sold by anyone unless approved by the Gloucester County Health Department.

Goods: Gloucester County Animal Shelter reserves the right to remove anything from your display that can be viewed as offensive, inappropriate or derogatory. Please remember that this event is open to all ages. Sellers are responsible for all clean-up after the event.

Space Assignments: Spaces are not pre-assigned and will be determined as the cars enter.

Ground Surface: This is an outdoor event with some locations on concrete or grass and some locations may not be level.

Cancellations: Please notify the Gloucester County Animal Shelter if you are unable to attend after signing your agreement.

Independent Contractor: GCAS and participant shall remain independent of each other, and nothing contained herein or done otherwise shall be constructed to create a joint venture, partnership, principal-agent, employer-employee or similar relationship between GCAS and the participant.
