Grace Church in Haddonfield announces the launch of their new Chorister Program, with rolling enrollment beginning this fall. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. starting Sept. 14, 2022. This program is tuition-free.
The Chorister Program stresses the development of a healthy singing voice and music reading skills in a safe, nurturing environment. All children in the choir receive professional training in the fundamentals of music, including sight-reading, ear-training, and music theory. Students also learn important 21st century skills like teamwork, character, resilience and grit, and executive functioning. Weekly performances on Wednesday afternoons allow Choristers real-life chances to practice their developing skills, with solo opportunities every week.
