Rapha Dental in Cinnaminson is looking forward to accommodating more patients with their two new treatment rooms that opened in recent months.
Rapha Dental in Cinnaminson was opened in 2018 by Dr. (Mark) Mock In Huh. After spending time in Cinnaminson as an Associate, he was excited to open his own business in the same area and offer a full range of services. Dr. Huh is the owner and primary dentist at Rapha Dental and prides himself on doing it all.
“There is a seamless decision making process,” said Dr.Huh. “I do not have to answer to anybody, no manager, no partner, no owner above me. I can do what’s best for patients without any barriers.”
“We can keep consistent treatment planning because patients will still see me after a few years instead of meeting with different dentists all the time. I am 40 years old and planning to practice for more than 20 years in this location.”
Dr. Huh was born in Seoul, South Korea. He attended the University of Washington at Seattle to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. He then continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with recognition of outstanding performance in the pre-doctoral endodontic program in 2009.
Following his education, he completed a one-year general practice residency program at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center where he gained more surgical experience. Dr. Huh also attended a one-year MaxiCourse at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now known as Rutgers University, to further his practice of implantology. He became an associate fellow of American Academy of Implant Dentistry and also a member of American Dental Association and New Jersey Dental Association.
After the graduation, Dr. Huh has been in touch with the school. He is serving at Southwest NJ Committee of Penn Alumni Interview Program to help University of Pennsylvania interviewing applicants for the school. He is working as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) School of Dental Medicine. He also earned the title of Top Dentist in NJ for 2022.
“No one influences me to make treatment plan decisions,” said Dr. Huh. “I do not push patients toward expensive procedures and there is no pressure in the office. I like treating patients like family.”
Rapha Dental offers numerous services from Cosmetic, Invisalign and Dental Implants to Extractions, Root Canal, Sedation and Pediatric. All of these services are available in house which helps to limit the referrals to other offices. Another benefit of having one dentist in the
Along with the range of services, other amenities include a 3D CT scanner for better implant placement, a digital scanner for crowns versus the traditional impressions and, of course, a big office condo with a huge parking lot.
Dr. Huh also prides himself and his team on the consistency and availability of services, especially during the pandemic, where they remained open to serve the public.
To help accommodate every type of client, Rapha Dental offers services five days a week, Monday through Thursday plus Saturday. Allowing the office to remain open on a weekend helps accommodate pediatric patients during the school year as well as the average working person. While the office is closed two days out of the week, they still offer 24/7 scheduling services via phone.
While Dr. Huh is not seeing patients, he is taking time to teach the future dentists of America at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. This activity also helps him to stay current with dental practices and helps him to learn new things along the way.
