South Jersey Flavor in the NFL

South Jersey has enjoyed a rich tradition when it comes to producing top-flight football talent. Below is our ever-expanding list of NFL players who competed for South Jersey high schools. This list consists of players who appeared in an actual game.

It doesn’t include South Jersey products who are set to be rookies this season.

Special thanks go to historian Chuck Langerman who has provided several new updates over the last few years.

The players are listed below with at least one of the NFL teams that they played for. In order to be included on this list, the players had to perform in at least one (non-strike) NFL game.

That doesn’t include this year’s rookies such as former Rutgers standouts – wide receiver Bo Melton (of Cedar Creek), a seventh round pick of Seattle and running back Isiah Pecheco (Vineland) a seventh round choice of the Kansas City Chiefs.

If there are any names that you feel are omitted, please contact us at [email protected]
