CHERRY HILL WEST
The Lions were 4-7 last year but four of the losses were by a TD or less. They also won three of their final four games and hope to carry the momentum into this season with an experienced group. The Lions have the look of a contender in the National. Sr. LT-DE Jordan Mendoza (6-3, 268) was second-team all-conference after recording 29 tackles, 2 TFLs and 2 sacks. He is a fourth-year starter on offense and a third-year starter on D. Sr. WR-QB-DB Kevin Rorke (6-0, 170) had 40 tackles, 3 INT, and 2 forced fumbles along with 4 rushing Tds and one receiving TD. He was honorable mention all-conference and could split some time at QB early in the season. Sr. TE-LB Tom Arcaroli (6-0, 195) had 130 tackles, 20 TFL and 3 forced fumbles in earning first-team all-conference honors. PAUL VI
Coach Dennis Scuderi Sr. has done a great job in elevating Paul VI’s program. The Eagles have had two straight winning seasons for the first time since having four in a row from 2012 through 2015. This is a young Paul VI team, so the Eagles may be a year away from contention but should still be competitive. When Scuderi took over prior to 2019, the entire program had fewer than 30 varsity players. This year there will be an expected 40 freshmen alone. One of this year’s leaders is Jr. QB-DL Dom Santiago (6-4, 215), a second-team all-conference choice on D. He will battle for the QB spot. Jr. WR-DB Christian Martin (6-0, 170) was a first-team choice on D. Jr. RB-LB Matt Morad (6-0, 185) was an honorable mention all-conference choice. Sr. RB-LB Gavin Bundt (6-0, 210) was hurt last year and came back for the final game. He will likely play both ways and team up in the backfield with Morad. So  OL-DL Mounir Keshner (6-2, 230) started both ways last year. So. OL-DT Jaylen Bishop (6-2, 285) started at DT. So. OL-DL Mitchell Landdo (6-0, 230) was a defensive starter. Jr. OG-DT Jake Rambo (6-0, 260) started on offense and is a third-year starter. Other returning veterans are Sr. OL Dom Corsetti (5-11, 180) and So. WR-CB Austin Bailey (6-2, 170).  Jr. QB Dawson Eliot (6-0, 175) a transfer, whose father D.J. is the new defensive coordinator at Temple, will compete for the QB job

MOORESTOWN
The Quakers went 4-6 last season and lost to Hamilton, 16-14 in their season finale and a chance to end at .500. This season, the Quakers are like many in this division, talented enough to look to be among the division contenders with a veteran returning team. The strength of the team is experience on the OL and DL. Among returning two-way players are Sr. OL-DL Alexi Holzberg (6-0, 210), Sr. OL-DL Cai’leb Dias (6-1, 240) and Jr. OL-DL Chris Gorman (6-4, 240). Other returning two-way players are Sr. WR-DB Tyler Mendys (5-11, 165) and Sr. WR-DB Wade Krisanda (6-0 165). Players who saw action on at least one side of the ball are Jr. QB Johnny Zolhman (6-2, 200), Jr. WR-LB Rece Englehart (6-1, 185), So. OL-DL Josh Leath (6-2, 215), Sr. WR-DB Jack Bertino (5-9, 155), Jr. TE-LB Shane Ginley (6-0, 175), Jr. OL-DL Emilo Regino Prieto (5-11, 215) and Sr. OL-DL Mikail Richardson (6-5, 240). Key returning letter winners are Jr. K-WR-DL Elias Diamantkos (6-0, 190), Sr. RB-DB  Kaden Davis (5-8, 175) and Jr. TE-LB Grady Keebler (6-0,, 180). Among key newcomers are So.
