RCSJ to host Gloucester County Reentry Job and Resource Fair

Employers seeking to increase their talent pool and justice-involved jobseekers looking for a fresh start can connect at the upcoming Gloucester County Reentry Job & Resource Fair on Fri., Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m., in Rowan College of South Jersey’s Gloucester campus gymnasium.

Sponsored by the N.J. State Parole Board, Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, Gloucester County Workforce Development Board, Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) and the South Jersey Community Reentry Coalition, the event will feature on-the-spot job interviews along with information and guidance surrounding career training; housing assistance; mental health, legal, and social services; and voter registration.

For job seekers looking to develop a competitive edge in advance of the employment fair, RCSJ’s Division of Career & Technical Education is offering free workshops featuring tips and tricks to stand out in the interview process. The workshops will be held in the Career & Technical Education Building on Wed., Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. to noon, and Thurs., Sept. 8, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees should pre–register by calling 856-415-2216.
