Predicted order of finish
CAMDEN
A new era of Camden football is upon us with former Camden grad Rob Hinson taking over as head coach. Hinson had great success first at Salem for one season and then Timber Creek before going to work in the player personnel department at Rutgers. He missed coaching and now has returned to his alma mater. The Panthers were 5-5 last season while competing in the WJFL Memorial Division. They were denied entry to the NJSIAA playoffs after having multiple players ejected in a game against Pleasantville. This team has the capability to contend for the division and return to the postseason. Camden returns several veteran skill position players. Sr. WR-DB Hamin Anderson (5-11, 165) had 26 receptions for 483 yards and 7 Tds and was a first-team all-conference choice on D after recording 19 tackles. Sr. WR-DB Taquan Brittingham (5-10, 175) had 20 receptions for 259 yards and 4 Tds. Sr. TE-DL Jahmyre Tyson (6-0, 255) had 55 tackles and 5.5 sacks in earning first-team all-conference honors. Several players saw action on at least one side of the ball. Sr. WR Terron Davis (5-7, 145) had 30 receptions for 555 yards and 8 Tds. He was a first-team all-conference selection. Jr. DB Braheem Long (5-11, 160) had 20 tackles and 1 INT. Sr. DB Craig Walton (6-0, 165) had 38 tackles. Jr. LB Nasere Blakney (5-10, 215) had 24 tackles in just four games. Sr. DB Israel Clark (6-0, 160) had 21 tackles. Two other returning veterans are So. OC Israel Banks (6-0, 265) and Jr. OL Jahmir Nicks (6-3, 280). Two key transfers from Philadelphia’s St. Joseph Prep have both committed to West Virginia. They are Sr. LB-DE James Heard (6-2, 225) and Jr. DL Richard James (6-0, 260). Other key newcomers include So. DB Azir Lee (6-0, 160), Jr. RB Jahleer Stanley (5-10, 175) and Soph SLOT/CB Malik Redd (5-8, 155).

HADDONFIELD
Most people felt the Bulldogs were a year away last year, especially when they started out 2-2, but then Haddonfield made a typical run, finishing 10-3, sharing the WJFL Colonial title, winning the CJ Group 2 championship and beating Point Pleasant Boro, 28-27 in the regional Group 2 title game. It was the sixth sectional title for the Bulldogs, all since 2010 and each under coach Frank DeLano. Even though the Bulldogs suffered heavy losses due to graduation, they should be in the mix for division and sectional titles and like last year, this is a team that should be better in the second half of the season. Jr. TE-DE Chris Clax (6-2, 215) had 87 tackles and earned first-team all-conference honors on D. Sr. FB-LB Johnny Mink (5-11, 180) had a team-high 152 tackles in also earning first-team honors on D. Three returning key two-way linemen are Sr. OL-DL Drew Washburn (6-2, 255), Sr. C-DL Julian Durkin (6-0, 195) and Jr. OL-DL Jameson Sweeney (6-0, 195). Washburn was an honorable mention all-conference selection. Jr. RB-DB Charlie Klaus (5-11, 185) had 38 tackles, 4 INTs and 6 passes defensed. He also rushed for 149 yards (4.26 avg.) and caught 15 passes for 173 yards. Several players saw action on at least one side of the ball. Jr. QB-DE Declan McCarthy (6-2, 215) started down the stretch on D and recorded 12 tackles. He also threw for 138 yards and 2 Tds as the backup QB. McCarthy, who has a strong arm that has impressed the coaching staff, will be the projected starting QB this season. Sr. WR-DB Ryan Foley (6-1, 180) has 45 tackles, 9 INTs and 5 passes defensed in earning first-team honors on D. Jr. RB-DB Dominic Hahn (5-10, 195) had 98  tackles, 1 INT and 6 passes defensed while earning second-team honors. Jr. TE-LB Patrick Ryan (6-3, 205) had 41 tackles. Jr. WR-DB Carl Forebaugh (6-0, 170) had 19 receptions for 279 yards, while also recording 9 tackles. Key returning letter winners include Jr. OL-DL Jack Tarditi (6-1, 220), Sr. WR-DB Tommy Reilly (6-5, 195), Sr. WR-DB Jack Gilmore (6-1, 190), Sr. RB-DB Chris Carr (5-10, 185), Sr. FB-DB Weston Klaus (6-0, 195), Sr. OL-DL Joe Poliafico (5-11, 185), Jr. TE-DE Matt LaProcido (5-10, 185) and Jr. OL-DL Nate Rohlfing (6-5, 225). Among key newcomers are Sr. OL-DL Marc Bertorelli (6-4, 230), Jr. WR-DE Matt Zapetti (5-9, 165), Jr. OL-DL Justin Lovenduski (5-11, 220) So. WR-DE Martin Foust (5-10, 160) and So. LB Alex Grimes (5-10, 190).

WEST DEPTFORD
The Eagles are coming off a 3-7 season while competing in the WJFL Colonial, but this is a strong senior class that can’t be counted out as a division contender. Sr. OL-DL Jibril Barksdale (6-3, 265) was a first-team all-conference selection on offense. Sr. K-P Brady Clark (6-2, 190) has committed to Princeton which has recruited him as a punter. He averaged 43 yards per punt last year. Other veterans include Sr. QB-S Corey Baglivo (5-9, 180), Sr. RB-CB Lawrence Howard (5-11, 185), Sr. FB-LB Alex Swietanski (6-0, 175), Sr. WR-CB-KR Tyrone Oden 5-9, 170), Sr. WR-S-LS Luke Laxton (5-9, 170) Sr. OL-DL Sean Kennedy (6-0, 240), Sr. OL-DL Rahmeer Vaughn (6-2, 270), Sr. OL-DL Craig Honeycutt (6-2, 275), Sr. TE-DE Ben Marraffa (6-1, 195), Jr. OL-LB Brendan Loughery (5-10, 180), Jr. TE-DE Brandon Ratcliffe (6-2, 190) and Jr. TE-DE Andrew Tighe (6-3, 200)

HADDON HEIGHTS
It was quite a season for the Garnets a year ago, going 6-4 and ending the year with a 36-13 win over rival and eventual Group 2 regional champion Haddonfield. There are several veterans to replace including four-year varsity QB Ryan DiOrio. With a relatively young team, the Garnets would do well to match last year’s record. The Garnets will be led by five returning two-way players. Sr. WR-DB Matthew Iuvara (6-3, 185) had 27 receptions for 515 yards and 7 Tds and added 27 tackles and three INTs. He was a first-team all-conference selection on offense. Sr. WR—DB Malachi Terrell (6-1, 170) had 21 receptions for 344 yards and 4 Tds and was a first-team all-conference choice on D. Sr. OL-DE Sean Diven (6-1, 210) was a first-team choice on offense. He also had 27 tackles and 6 TFL. Sr. OL-DE Rocco Farroni (6-0, 255) had 32 tackles and 8 TFL in earning first-team honors on D. Jr. TE-LB Jayden Trace (6-1, 215) a second-team choice on offense, had 44 tackles and 2 sacks and added 9 receptions for 200 yards and 2 Tds. The QB will be Jr. Drew Harris, who attempted nine passes and threw one TD pass in a reserve role last season. Harris was also a second-team all-conference PK. Players who saw action on at least one side of the ball include Sr. OL-DL John Plumley, Sr. RB-DL Marques Williams and Sr. WR-DB Arion Bunch.

CAMDEN CATHOLIC
The Irish are the defending Constitution champion, but lost key players to either graduation or transfer. The Irish hired Dwayne Savage who had a highly successful tenure as Camden’s head coach. He did a great job rebuilding Camden and should do the same given time at Camden Catholic. Returning veterans who started on at least one side of the ball are Sr. DL Jonathan Graham (6-1, 250), Sr. DB Andrew Crawford (5-10, 165), Sr. OL-DL Malachi Wood (6-1, 270) and So. WR Jaden Tricoche (5-11, 170). Among key letter winners are So. OL-DL Thaisann Alexander (6-4, 275), So. DL Joel Arregatcher (5-11, 255), So. WR-DB Qua’veair Anderson (5-11, 165), So. OL-DL Chris Reyes (5-11, 210), Jr. WR-DB Luis Burgas (6-0,, 170), Sr. RB-LB Benjamin Concepcion (5-10, 185), So. RB-DB Malki Bolden (5-10, 150), So. QB-DB Mike Moritz (5-11, 165), So. STERLING
Ray Tralie takes over Sterling and he inherits a rebuilding situation after the Silver Knights went 5-5 last season while competing in the WJFL Colonial Division. Sterling must replace 10 players who were either named first or second team all-conference. Among returning veterans, Jr. OL-DL Malachai Gould (6-1, 330) was a second-team all-conference choice on offense. Other returning veterans are Sr. RB-LB Sam Agbessi, Jr. RB-MLB VinnyCapozoli,  Sr. RB-DB Andrew Vie, Sr. OL-DL Andre Vie, Sr. OL-DL Nico Gallen, Sr. OL-DL Andrew Krause, Jr. B-MLB James Hall, and Sr. TE-LB Santino Saverase.
