The Haddonfield Lions Club Second Annual Octoberfest 5K Run and Fun Walk has been scheduled for 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, starting at Christ the King School in Haddonfield.
All proceeds raised from the race go to charities supported by the Lions Club including nonprofits that aid those with visual impairments, blindness and other disabilities. October is Vision Awareness Month and October 1 is Wellness Day in Haddonfield.
Fees are $30 (if purchased by Sept. 25), $35 between the 25th and day before the race and $40 the day of the race. Walkers pay $25 if they register before September 25, $30 if they register after and $35 the day of the walk.
