Final community input meeting for former “Beagle Club” property set

Township will let residents tour the passive park at a future date.

On Tuesday, May 31, the township will host a final community input meeting for residents to offer feedback on the concept plan for the future passive at the former “Beagle Club” property.

All residents are invited to join and offer input on Tuesday, May 31 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gibson House Community Center, 535 E. Main St.

The township officially closed on its purchase of the property in late April.

Per the purchase agreement, the township will continue to lease the property to the former owners for a period of six months during their transition off of the site. The property will not be directly open to the public during this time. However, the township will hold four days within the coming months where members of the public will be invited to tour the site.
