Duties & Requirements: Under direction of a supervisor, Special Officers will perform varied types of traffic and security details; other related duties as required. Part time hours vary between day, night, weekends, and holidays. Gloucester Township residents preferred. Pay is $16 per hour.
APPOINTEES WILL BE REQUIRED TO POSSESS A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE IN NEW JERSEY. EXTENSIVE BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, PHYSICAL INCLUDING DRUG TESTING, AND PSYCHOLOGICAL EXAM WILL BE CONDUCTED. TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF HIRING PROCESS. THE “POLICE SUPPORT” JOB APPLICATION MUST BE FILLED OUT FOR CONSIDERATION FOR THIS POSITION.
