Fourth of July Parade returns to Moorestown

Committee welcomes military veterans to ride on float.

After a two-year hiatus, the Moorestown Fourth of July Parade is back. The parade will take place on July 4, stepping off at noon. The Parade Committee would like to invite all military veterans in Moorestown to participate in this celebration of our great country by riding on the veteran’s float.

The veteran’s float is an annual parade favorite and allows all spectators the opportunity to honor the heroes who guaranteed our freedom. Participating in the parade is a great way to meet other veterans, enjoy the holiday and celebrate your selfless service.

This year’s theme is “From Sea to Shining Sea”, but it makes no difference whether you served on land, at sea or in the air. Veterans of all eras and generations have something to celebrate, so please accept our invitation and join us.

Assembly will be at the intersection of Central and Chester Avenues. Please arrive early enough to be counted and receive your place in the line-up. We ask that you wear something to celebrate your veteran status (e.g., service-related ball cap or t-shirt). Please park as far from that intersection as possible to give the committee room to organize the parade.

For questions, please contact the committee’s veteran coordinator – Alan Van Saun at aevansaun@gmail.com.
