Camden Schools Foundation to honor local Camden heroes

Scholarship fundraiser honors local Camden heroes

The Camden Schools Foundation (CSF) will host its 11th Annual Hall of Fame Dinner and Fundraiser on March 22, 2022 at Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield.

The event will honor five individuals for their contributions to the city of Camden. Funds raised will be put towards the Foundation’s mission of supporting Camden students and schools.

Honorees’ family, friends, and invited guests will celebrate with the Camden Schools Foundation’s Board of Trustees and top sponsors.

The Foundation has a long-standing history of service to the Camden community. Since its inception in 2005, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.3M  in scholarships to hundreds of Camden students and has provided grants for STEM education and other programs to the school district.

The Foundation will induct four members into its Hall of Fame:

  • Stacy Johnson – Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1975, CEO & President of Johnson Engineering Consultants, youth sports coach and mentor.

  • Nichelle Pace – Camden native, diversity, equity, and inclusion champion, media and advertising expert, and activist for Camden small businesses.

  • Joseph Ripa – Camden High School Class of 1957, dedicated public servant and lifelong Camden County resident, serving third term as Camden County Clerk.

  • Giovanni Thompson – CEO of the Camden Monarchs professional basketball team, champion for young girls and women in business.

Additionally, the Foundation will award its Founder’s Honor to

  • Jack Tarditi, Senior Partner at Conner Strong & Buckelew, community activist, and President of the Camden Schools Foundation

For his work leading the Camden Schools Foundation for the last 15 years.
