The Foundation launched this event in 2008 to a sell-out crowd of more than 1,000 people. After a hiatus in 2020 and a virtual edition in 2021, it is thrilled to return with a live show on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Cherry Hill High School West.

Each year, the show features dancing numbers in which “amateurs” – including teachers, alumni, and business leaders – are paired with professional dancers. The couple that raises the most money in sponsorships, donations, and votes will win the coveted First Prize trophy. Judges’ awards will also be presented for Best Overall Performance, Most Creative Performance, and Best Technical Performance. Proceeds support  innovative educational initiatives for the more than 11,000 children in Cherry Hill’s public schools.

The theme of the 2022 Dancing with the Cherry Hill Stars is Hollywood! This year’s lineup of dancers includes:

Victoria Bovo and Caleah Allen

Bill Carter and Tish Winslow

Allegra Cohen-Monk and David Monk

Jon Cohen and Lisa Silver

Blaze Dalio and Jodi Raditz

Betty DeMarco and Joe DeMarco

Dr. Mechelle Faria and Kaelan Faria

Sara Jordan and Handell Hall

Fran Marziano and Robert Marziano

Elana Molotsky and Dr. Alec Robin

Tavit Murray and Sloan Salvatore

Eleanor Stofman and Alan Saperstein

Online voting/donating is now underway (one dollar = one vote) on the Foundation website along with information on sponsorship opportunities and ad book sales. Go to www.cherryhilleducationfoundation.com.

Tickets and livestream sales open soon; seating will be limited. General admission tickets are $15 and will be sold online ONLY; no tickets will be sold at the door. Proof of vaccination and ID will be required for entry into  the show. For those who prefer to watch the show at home, a livestream link will be available for $25.

The Cherry Hill Education Foundation plays a critical role in ensuring that students in Cherry Hill’s public  schools continue to reap the benefits of a high-quality education, both inside the classroom and through extra curricular activities. Since late 2007, the Foundation has awarded nearly $1.3 million in grants and donations.  To learn more, please visit our website at www.cherryhilleducationfoundation.com
