Haddonfield Community Service Collaborative holds first meeting on Friday

These monthly lunch-hour meetings are intended to foster collaboration, innovation, and participation.

On Friday, Jan. 28, Mayor Collen Bianco Bezich will host the first ever Haddonfield Community Service collaborative at 12 p.m. on Zoom. The meeting is meant to engage representatives of Haddonfield-based non-profit organizations, but all are welcome – especially if you’re a volunteer on the hunt for an opportunity to give back.
“Having volunteered with Haddonfield Celebrations Association, Haddonfield Area Lions Club, Downtown Haddonfield and others, and based on my interactions with other orgs in my role as Mayor / Dir. of Public Safety, I’ve observed volunteer shortages, missed opportunities & loss of funding in recent years,” Bianco Bezich said. “I’ve also discovered some pretty incredible people, places, resources, stories & trends, all of which we can build upon – if we work together!”
These monthly lunch-hour meetings are intended to foster collaboration, innovation, and participation. Each representative will be asked to introduce him/her/themselves and the org(s) they represent, along with any events/initiatives they are preparing for the coming year.
To participate, email Joana McDonnell at jmcdonnell@haddonfield-nj.gov, and she will take care of registering your org and provide the Zoom log in for next Friday.
Together we can prevent the extinction of our community orgs and create opportunities for Jurassic-sized acts of generosity!
