Mayor Nicole Gillespie announced that Moorestown Township has declared 2022 “The Year of the Environment in Moorestown.”

Each quarter, the township will focus on a different environmental theme. In addition, residents will work with the township to share advice and steps to use energy more sustainably.

To kick things off, we’re asking residents to help us come up with a hashtag for our year of the environment initiative. Email the township’s Assistant Public Information Officer Kelly Flynn at kflynn@moorestown.nj.us with your ideas. We also welcome any tips or ideas about sustainable energy use that residents have to offer.
