The Haddonfield Area Lions Club will host “Breakfast with the Troops,” on Saturday, June 4, Skirmish Day in Haddonfield.

An authentic Colonial-style breakfast will be served by the Lions at First Presbyterian Church Haddonfield, 20 Kings Highway East, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.  The buffet will include eggs, pancakes, fruit and meats the soldiers would have eaten with the menu ideas coming from the Indian King Tavern.  Diners can meet with reenactor troops in attendance and learn about life during the revolution and what took place in New Jersey during that time.

The cost will be $15 for adults and $8.50 for children 12 and under, which may be paid at the door.  At this time, all people entering the church must show proof of vaccination and wear a mask unless they are eating.

For updated information, please see the Lions website at www.haddonfieldlions.org. We will continue posting updates on this event that will be both great fun and a learning opportunity for young and old. To learn more about The Skirmish, please follow @haddonfieldskirmish on social media.
