The Deptford Rotary Club will be kicking off 2022 by celebrating their 50th birthday party. Chartered April 1, 1971, the Deptford Rotary Club has been supporting local charities and business organizations for over 50 years, and they plan to throw a big celebration in continuation of their success with the public’s help.
The event will be held on Friday, Jan. 28 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Four Star Event Catering, located at 595 Princeton Blvd. in Wenonah, N.J. Live music from the Goodfellas, unlimited food, beer and wine will be available along with the promotion of fellowship and good company, something Rotarians are known around the world for.
Proceeds from the event will support the Deptford Rotary Club Foundation throughout the next year of giving back to the local Gloucester County community, including but not limited to the following activities: winter blizzard bags, school backpack donations, high school scholarships and general funding for all Rotary International activities.
