Harrison Township Historical Society’s coupon book promotes shopping local

The 2022 edition includes several new businesses, as well as most of those that participated last year.

The Harrison Township Historical Society’s 2022 shop local discount coupon book features deals from A (auto repairs) to Z (zucchini) at over 50 businesses in Mullica Hill, Ferrell and Richwood.

“Last year’s coupon book was a win-win for everyone,” the Society’s president Robert

The 2022 edition includes several new businesses, as well as most of those that participated last year. “Some of our customers purchased the coupon book and immediately used the coupon for our offer,” said Curt Atkins, owner of Village Bagels in Mullica Hill. “Others recognized this as a good value and purchased books for gifts. This is a great shop local project that helps us and is also a benefit for the Historical Society. I am pleased that we can participate again this year.”

The book includes offers from the area’s well-known antiques and specialty shops, as well as salons, restaurants, grocery and farm markets. Mullica Hill’s Dunkin stores have again underwritten the publication.

“We are very grateful to Kenny Patel for Dunkin’s continued support for this project ,” added Schumann.
