The Haddonfield location opens on Friday, December 10, 2021, while the original Haddon Culinary continues to delight customers in Collingswood, NJ.

Chef-owners Joe Muldoon and James Liuzza announce the Friday, Dec. 10 opening of the second location of their gourmet market, Haddon Culinary, located at 9 Kings Highway West in Haddonfield, NJ.The unique chef-driven prepared-foods market, casual restaurant, and specialty grocer, whose flagship store is located in downtown Collingswood, will use the new location to cater to busy commuters, offering easy on-the-go fare. Haddon Culinary was twice voted South Jersey’s “Best Gourmet Market” in the two years since it’s opening in December of 2019.

Located in the former Ludovico’s Deli, Haddon Culinary’s second location will offer the same attention to detail and quality of product that customers have come to expect from the Collingswood staple. Guests will enjoy scratch-made prepared foods, baked goods, soups, and made-to-order sandwiches and seasonal salads. The new location will also include a full coffee and espresso menu in partnership with longtime collaborators Revolution Coffee Roasters of Collingswood.

“When we were planning our menu, we were certainly considering quick service so you can get in and out, keeping the PATCO in mind,” says Chef Joe Muldoon. “There will be something for everyone,” he continued. “You’ll be able to come in to purchase something made to order for you, and walk out with something made for the next day. That’s what we want to provide for Haddonfield.”

Voted “Best Downtown Shopping Area” by the Courier Post and one of the “Best Places to Live, Shop, and Dine” by Philly Magazine, the Borough of Haddonfield is located just 10 minutes from both the Ben Franklin and Walt Whitman bridges.

“We are excited to extend our brand and share our love of food with the town of Haddonfield,” says Chef James Liuzza. “Growing up in the area, it’s always been a dream of mine to have a business in downtown Haddonfield. We look forward to serving the community and being part of its growth.”

“We really are honored to be able to carry the torch from the owners of Ludovico’s, who sought us out to take over the space once they decided to move on,” Muldoon continued. “Our team at Haddon Culinary is eager to take on that legacy and to have the opportunity to service the people of Haddonfield – we couldn’t be more excited.”

The pair of entrepreneurial chefs both graduated with honors from the prestigious culinary arts academy at Johnson & Wales University. Having honed their skills in the kitchens of some of the country’s top restaurants and culinary operations, both chefs feel that their careers led them on the path to opening Haddon Culinary in Collingswood, NJ. It’s the perfect culinary-minded collection of over-the-top foods one would have to travel all over the northeast to get, but at Haddon Culinary, they’re all in one place. Perhaps that’s why Haddon Culinary was named South Jersey’s “Best Food Market” in 2020 and 2021 by South Jersey Magazine/SouthJersey.com.
