“Angel was surrendered to GCAS because his owner was unable to care for him. The shelter has been his home for half a year and we are so happy to see him find his forever home,” Director Robert Damminger said.

Angel first came to the shelter on May 27 and was brought to his forever home on Dec. 2.

“Without the help of the volunteers at the shelter, Angel may have not been able to find the perfect match. We are always welcoming new volunteers to help at the shelter,” Deputy Director Frank J. DiMarco said.

The shelter is accepting volunteer applications to help care for the animals. Individuals interested in volunteering at GCAS can find an application here:

Adoption fees are only $35 for dogs and cats six years and younger. The fee for animals six years and older is waived.
