Partnership for Haddonfield appoints Michael Marciante as new Executive Director

Michael Marciante has a background of event production, marketing and communication management.

Special to The Sun/The Sun: Michael Marciante has joined the Partnership for Haddonfield as  Executive Director, beginning on Nov. 3.

The Partnership for Haddonfield’s (PfH) new Executive Director Michael Marciante has joined Downtown Haddonfield’s bustling preparations for the highly anticipated 2021 holiday season, since officially starting in the position on November 3. The Partnership for Haddonfield (PfH) is the management corporation for Haddonfield’s Business Improvement District.

“We are pleased to announce Michael as our new Executive Director, and to welcome him to the PfH team,” said Susan Hodges, Chairwoman of the Partnership for Haddonfield. “We’re looking forward to working with him to further enhance the success of our business district,” she continued.

Marciante brings a background of event production, marketing and communication management to his new role. He believes in being proactive in fostering positive relationships with the Downtown businesses, community leaders and for those who call Haddonfield home. “Haddonfield has an incredible business district,” Marciante explained. “It’s important for me to understand the needs of the business community, as I see the potential it has to be even better,” he continued.

Marciante took the opportunity to meet with many of the business owners while distributing luminaria for Candlelight Shopping; which kicked off on November 26. “Traditions needs to be respected as the Haddonfield community returns to celebrate and shop in Downtown Haddonfield this holiday season,” he said.

Marciante and all of the Downtown Haddonfield businesses invite everyone to ‘shop small’ at their favorite locally owned shops and food/beverage establishments during the upcoming holiday season. The Downtown greatly appreciates the support of its small businesses, and encourages everyone to shop safely and locally to ensure the future health of our community’s economy.

Now more than ever, it’s important to choose to support small to circulate money back into the local economy, thus helping the community grow. Studies suggest that ‘shopping small’ has an undeniable trickle-down effect. For every $100 dollars spent at a locally owned business, nearly $70 stays in the community and contributes to local economic growth. ‘Shopping small’ also allows customers to get to know the people behind the product or service, which results in unbeatable customer service and personalization.
