Bruce Taylor, Director of Educational Technology of Voorhees Township Board of Education, received the BCIP JIF Cyber Safety Super Star Award for implementing multi-factor authentication throughout the school district.  The BCIP JIF is recognizing his efforts because virtual safety is personal, pervasive and can have a life-long impact on everyone involved with school districts. By recognizing his exceptional efforts, it hope to encourage all JIF member school districts to invest in crucial cyber security initiatives.  The BCIP JIF thank Bruce Taylor and Voorhees Township Board of Education for keeping the community safer.

The BCIP JIF is a public entity owned and controlled by its 42 Member School Districts. It is not an insurance company, and is monitored by the NJ State Department of Banking & Insurance.  The State of New Jersey allows public entities to collectively pool their resources to insure for property, liability and workers’ compensation coverages.  The BCIP JIF was formed in 1984 to reduce the cost of risk so that more money would be available for education.
