Susan Lasker Hertz of Cherry Hill, N.J. has been named Director of Hospice.
Hertz comes to Samaritan with more than four decades of experience in healthcare. She most recently served as Director of Hospice and Palliative Care at Baystate Hospice in Springfield, Mass., where she was responsible for the daily and strategic operations of hospice as well as adult and pediatric palliative care.
A Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN) and Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN), Hertz has been published numerous times, including in the American Journal of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Georgetown University, and earned a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.
