Come share your poetry with us! Medford Arts Center announces its 14th Annual Juried Poetry Contest for Adults and its 4th Annual Juried Poetry Contest for High School Students.
High School students attending schools in Burlington County are eligible to participate. If interested, send poems by email to poetrycontest@medfordarts.com by November 29, 2021. Be sure to include in the subject line “2021 High School Poetry Contest”. Include in your email the following information: name, address, high school and grade and contact number (mobile and text reach numbers).
Poets over the age of 18 and residing in Burlington County are eligible to participate. If interested, send poems by email to poetrycontest@medfordarts.com by November 29, 2021. Be sure to include in the subject line “2021 Adult Poetry Contest”. Include in your email the following information: name, residential address, contact number (mobile and text reach numbers).
Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three poems in each contest. The following awards will be presented to the winners: 1st place ($125); 2nd place ($75); 3rd place ($50).
Due to concerns over covid and covid variants, we have streamlined both the submission requirements and our annual award ceremony. The awards ceremony will take place virtually in December 2021. Details will be posted on the Medford Arts website (Poetry section).
