For Eastern Regional High School’s next board of education meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m., attendees will have the option of attending in person or remotely.

On March 20, 2020, P.L. 2020 Chapter 11 amended the Open Public Meetings Act to allow local public bodies to conduct Remote Public Meetings by use of electronic communications technology during a period declared as a Public Health Emergency or a State of Emergency.
Zoom Webinar will be used to conduct a hybrid meeting on October 20, 2021. Board members and school officials may participate as panelists. Members of the public may join by phone or the internet as attendees.
Attendees have full access to listen by phone or view and hear via the internet the virtual meeting as well as comment during designated times as listed in the agenda. The Board President will queue the members of the public that wish to provide comment and the superintendent serving as the Zoom Webinar host will recognize them in order.
Members of the public wishing to provide comment are to use the function to “raise their hand” to be recognized. A phone caller presses ‘*9’ to raise their hand while a computer user clicks the Raise Hand icon (see further instructions here). Persons are to provide their full name and sending town.
