The new year kicked off in September and the Camden County 4-H Program, based at the Camden County Environmental Center in Cherry Hill, has new club offerings, including the Global Teens 4-H Club. The first meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. Please RSVP at https://bit.ly/2Y2PY8T to learn about events and activities for this new club, including several international travel opportunities in the summers of 2022 and 2023.

Teens are invited to learn join 4-H in a once-in-a-lifetime international travel experience with their peers to Iceland in Summer 2023 where they will see the world, explore new places, and experience new cultures. The meeting will highlight how this opportunity can benefit the participant, how to start planning for this experience, the itinerary and all the details.

Another international experience is already planned for July 2022 to Germany and Switzerland where youth will learn about sustainable living by visiting an urban sustainable project and urban farm in Berlin, explore the green city of Freiburg and meet an environmental sustainability expert, then travel through the Black Forest to Lucerne where students will enjoy a cable car to the top of a mountain in the Swiss Alps. Spaces are still available for those interested.
