Lenape Regional High School students recognized for Scholarship Program

Twelve Lenape High School students have been named Commended Students in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program

Lenape High School is very pleased to recognize twelve students that have been named Commended Students in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) will be presented by Mr. Cattani to seniors Sophia Bollar, Eleni Christou, Chase Cristella, Gatik Gogia, Samantha Guia, Adrianna Latka, Matthew Melohis, Arti Singh, Sophia Sorid, Connor Storicks, Tharun Ramanatha Subramanian Iyer, and Boyang Zhao. 

Although they will not continue in the 2022 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2022 competition by taking the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) offered in October of 2020 and January of 2021. The National Merit Scholarship Program is essentially an academic competition that recognizes students who take and score well on these exams and these students may be eligible for further scholarships sponsored by corporations and businesses.
