The Berlin Water Department will be conducting its 2021 Fire Hydrant Flushing from Monday, Oct. 4 to Friday, Oct. 29. Flushing hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
When hydrants are being flushed, it is possible that you may experience a slight discoloration in your water. This condition is normal and is not harmful to you. If you experience discoloration of your water, please run your cold water and allow the cold water to clear prior to use. Additionally, the Berlin Water Department asks that you refrain from using your washing machine during this time.
