Health Department operates booster and third dose vaccine clinic at senior complex

Today, starting at 11:30 a.m., the Camden County Health Department will be holding a pop up vaccine clinic where eligible people can receive the COVID booster shot at Franklin Square Village, 301 S. Hildebrand Ave Gloucester Township, NJ 08029

The Camden County Health Department, in partnership with the Rutgers School of Nursing, and Cooper University Health Care will be operating a free, pop-up vaccination clinic where booster doses will be available for anyone on site that qualifies. The free vaccine clinic will be open to walk-up patients in the community beginning at 11:30 a.m. The clinic will be providing all two vaccines, including Pfizer boosters and third doses of Moderna and Pfizer tomorrow for the residents and staff of the complex.

Commissioner Director Lou Cappelli Jr. talked about how the county has prepared and will be executing the next phase of the vaccine program.

“We watched President Biden get his booster two days ago and now our health department is adding them to our arsenal of tools to bolster the health and welfare of our residents,” Dyer said. “This week we had nine more residents pass away from this virus and now is not the time to stop pushing the best tool we have to end this pandemic. Our public health team and our partners will continue to travel the county offering up these tools to protect the public from COVID.”

At this time, more than 303,585 residents are fully vaccinated in Camden County and more than 337,561 residents have gotten at least one dose.
