Looking for a new employment opportunity? Pull out your best business attire, fill a folder with resumes and head to the Employment Weekly Job Fair in partnership with Camden County.

The free event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, in the Nordstrom Corridor of the Cherry Hill Mall.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has put tremendous strain on workers at every level of our economy, and as a result many South Jersey residents are facing unemployment or looking for a change in work to accommodate health and safety conditions. Now more than ever our annual job fair is needed,” said Camden County Commissioner Jonathan Young, liaison to the Camden County One Stop Resource Center.

“When attending the job fair, be sure to dress for success and bring plenty of copies of your resume as you will have a chance to meet directly with employers with current job opportunities.”

As noted by Gold Sponsor, Kaye Personnel, “[We are] excited to be the Gold Sponsor at the Employment Weekly Job Fair at the Cherry Hill Mall Sept. 17. As a boutique staffing service specializing in skilled and semi-skilled labor as well as front office and customer service and being based in Cherry Hill, and offices in Philadelphia with close to 40 years of family ownership, we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the job fair and hope we can employ as many individuals as possible who successfully apply.”

Businesses will be on hand showcasing both full-time and part-time job openings and other opportunities. Kaye Personnel wants attendees to know that “We have numerous positions available for warehouse, forklift, office, production, fulfillment, customer service for temp to perm and/or direct hire placement for our clients throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia.”

Our Silver Sponsor, The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), is the oldest and largest scientific association devoted to cancer research, and has dedicated itself to excellence in enhancing the scientific breadth in the field of cancer research. It brings together researchers and scientists who are continually seeking to accelerate the prevention and cure of cancer.

As a result of this and AACR’s rapid organizational growth several new positions have become available. We are looking for highly qualified, dedicated individuals to join our staff. Positions include managers, biomedical scientists, and highly skilled administrative professionals.

All companies attending the event will be hiring for a range of employment opportunities. Job seekers can plan to discuss their resumes and employment aspirations on site with all businesses. Additional Camden County partners will be present at the event to assist with job-related and county-related services, including tables for the Camden County Resource Center, New Jersey. Employment Services, Workforce Development Board, Congressman Norcross’ office, Department of Child Services, and Camden County College.

Bronze sponsors attending the event include Pilot Services, Always Best Care Senior Services, Total Maintenance Management, Roosevelt Paper Company, Safety Bus Company, Bonduelle, Aspire Baking Co., Aleph Home Care, Burlington Stores, Simonik, and Wiley Nursing Home.
