“At our Deptford Community Center, we have a full schedule of programs and events planned for you and your family,” Mayor Paul Medany wrote in his monthly message. “Our first rate recreation programs for all ages will continue to get better.”

For those interested in art, there are multiple adult programs available as well as  classes on children’s art. Crafty classes such as photo imagery, jewelry making and “coffee and creative time” are options for all ages.

Dance classes are available for those who bring a partner or come alone to learn more about ballroom dancing or even disco. Journal class is for writers, and bookmaking class is for the readers. Programs are also planned in beginner Spanish and beer making.

The community center is located at 1219 Delsea Drive. For more information on registration and pricing, call the center during business hours at (856) 845-0804.

Outside of the center, new Deptford Pickleball courts are now open to the public.
