Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey & Philadelphia’s announced today that its newest Attended Donation Center located at 610 Kresson Road in Cherry Hill will open on Thursday, Aug. 12 at 8 a.m.

The site, which formerly housed a 7-Eleven store, is located at Kresson and Howard Johnson Roads and was purchased by Goodwill in 2018. It has been transformed into a 2,400 square foot donation center to serve Cherry Hill and surrounding communities.  Goodwill encourages donations of gently-used clothing, accessories, household goods, toys, books,  computers/electronics, furniture, home medical equipment and other underused items.

Revenues from the sale of donated items fund Goodwill’s mission of providing job training programs and career services that prepare local residents with disabilities and disadvantages for competitive employment.

As a nonprofit, community-based organization, all donations to Goodwill are 100 percent tax deductible per IRS law. Donor services attendants will be on site at this new location to help donors unload their items and a computerized donation kiosk will enable donors to print receipts for tax purposes.

For donor convenience, Goodwill’s Attended Donation Center will be open Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
