Local adult care center reopened

Aleph Adult Day Center is open Monday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program is following all COVID-19 safety precautions as required by the state of New Jersey. All of Aleph’s staff members are fully vaccinated, and all clients must be fully vaccinated to participate in the program.

Aleph Home Care’s Adult Day Center has officially reopened its doors to older adults in South Jersey as of June. Now open three half-days a week, this unique program provides older adults with a safe, engaging and nurturing environment to socialize, learn, and have fun.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer this wonderful program to our older adult community again,” said Robyn Kaplan, director of Aleph Home Care and Aleph Adult Day Center. “The Aleph Adult Day Center is a safe place where our seniors can enjoy activities, exercise, and meaningful social interaction — all of which help to improve their mental and physical health.”

Aleph Adult Day Center is focused around socialization, cognitive engagement and creative expression with movement and physical activities, individualized programs, educational therapy, sensory stimulation and more. Additionally, special celebrations are held for birthdays and holidays for the clients.
